Aqua Natura is Benidorm’s smaller water park that’s perfect if you’re looking for a more relaxed aquatic experience than Aqualandia. Connected to Terra Natura zoo, this water park is significantly smaller and focuses on gentler, family-friendly attractions rather than extreme thrills.

If you’re travelling with young children or prefer shorter queues and a relaxed atmosphere where you can actually hear yourself think, Aqua Natura might be exactly what you’re after! The park feels more like a large resort pool area with extra slides rather than a massive theme park.
Where is Aqua Natura?
Aqua Natura is located within the Terra Natura complex in Benidorm, about 4 kilometres from Benidorm’s centre.
The exact address is: Avda. Alcalde Eduardo Zaplana, cruce con, CV-70, 03502 Benidorm, Alicante, Spain.
Getting there is straightforward:
- Car: Free parking available at Terra Natura
- Bus: Local buses run from Benidorm centre to Terra Natura
- Taxi: About 15 minutes from most central Benidorm locations
Aqua Natura attractions and slides
I’ve divided attractions into three categories – for children, families, and adults, making it easy to find the right level of excitement for everyone in your group.

Children’s attractions at Aqua Natura
Chapoteo to Neró Kaló
Young children love waiting for the huge container to fill up and tip over, creating a massive water cascade! This pirate-themed area has passages, hideouts, and interactive games with a proper pirate ship complete with walkways, slides, nets, and bridges. It’s designed for children under 4 with parents, and there’s always a lifeguard on duty.
El Ojo de las Cícladas
Two infant slides – one open curved slide (19m long) for children up to 12, and a closed hydro-tube with a 1.20m height requirement. Perfect for building confidence on smaller slides before tackling the bigger ones.
Adventure Island
A massive 1,400 square metre water playground designed for children up to 12 years old. There are water jets, fountains, cascades, shallow pools, and four different slides including two spiral hydro-tubes. It’s perfect for keeping children entertained for ages while parents relax nearby.

Mermaid School
Children can transform into mermaids or tritons with special makeup and costumes, then learn to swim with a mermaid monofin.
The instructors are trained in synchronized swimming, and kids receive a diploma at the end. You can even get professional photos taken – it’s such a special experience that children will remember forever!
Family attractions
Black Hole
A thrilling 104-metre tube slide that starts 12 metres up! You’ll race down in a two-person raft through the darkness before shooting out onto a pool. It’s brilliant for sharing the experience with someone, and the enclosed tubes make it feel even more exciting. Minimum height 1.20m.
Rio Aventura
This extra-wide U-shaped slide is 123 metres long and 2 metres wide – you take a floating pad and launch yourself down for an amazing ride. The width makes it feel less intense than narrower slides. Minimum height 1.25m.
Zigzag-Giant Slide
A winding 105-metre slide that feels like it goes on forever! The twists and turns keep you guessing what’s coming next as you race down from 12 metres up. Minimum height 1.20m.
Multipista
Four parallel racing slides where you can compete with friends to see who reaches the bottom first! Each slide is 50 metres long, and the competitive element makes it extra fun. Minimum height 1.20m.
Adult attractions
Kamikaze
For the most daring visitors! This is a high-velocity free fall without a mat – pure vertigo and thrills as you drop 14 metres through a tube that opens up at the end. Minimum height 1.25m.
La Cresta
Feel zero gravity on this roller-coaster slide! Starting from a 20-metre platform, you’ll experience ups and downs in a two-person raft before ending in the safety pool. There’s a weight restriction of 50-100kg and minimum height 1.25m.
Speed Hole
One of Aqua Natura’s fastest slides! This 45-metre tubular slide uses an individual raft and starts 14 metres up. The enclosed tube makes the speed feel even more intense. Minimum height 1.20m.
Niágara
A swift 47-metre open slide that drops from 14 metres at high velocity. There’s a maximum weight restriction of 85kg and minimum height 1.20m.
When does Aqua Natura open?
Aqua Natura is open for longer than other waterparks. This year, it opened from April 3rd through to November 2nd, with extended hours during the peak summer months.
The exact opening dates can vary slightly each year, so I’d recommend checking their website before your visit – I keep this updated so you can check back!
Aqua Natura opening times
Aqua Natura peak summer season opening times (June to August):
- 10:00 to 20:00 daily
Aqua Natura non-peak season (April-May and September-November):
- 10:00 to 18:00 daily
Water attractions typically close 30 minutes before the park’s official closing time.
Aqua Natura ticket costs
For the 2025 season, ticket prices are:
- Adults: €33
- Children (4-12 years): €27
- Children under 4: Free
- Seniors (65+): €27
Combined Terra Natura + Aqua Natura tickets:
- Adults: €45
- Children: €37
There are family discounts available for groups of 4 or more, and you can often find special offers during quieter periods.
Where to buy tickets
You can buy tickets at the entrance, but I’d suggest purchasing online beforehand to avoid queues and sometimes save a few euros. I recommend buying official tickets through GetYourGuide as it often have deals available, which makes tickets cheaper than buying at the gate!
Tips for visiting Aqua Natura
Here are my recommendations for making the most of your day:
- Arrive when the park opens to secure good spots for your belongings
- Bring plenty of sun cream – you’ll be in direct sunlight most of the day
- Pack towels and a change of clothes for afterwards
- The park provides lockers for rent from 5 euros to store your valuables safely
- Consider bringing floatation aids if you have small children who aren’t confident swimmers
- Take advantage of the shaded areas during the hottest part of the day (1-4pm)
Food and drink at Aqua Natura
The park has several dining options, though they’re a bit pricey like most theme parks:
- Restaurant Terra: Main restaurant serving burgers, pizza, and Spanish dishes (€12-18 per person)
- Snack bars: Scattered around the park for ice cream, drinks, and light bites
- Picnic areas: You’re allowed to bring your own food and drinks (no glass containers)
I’d recommend having a substantial breakfast before arriving or bringing your own food and drinks to keep costs down.
Park facilities
Aqua Natura offers all the essentials for a comfortable day:
- Sun loungers and parasols (some are free, premium spots cost extra)
- Lockers available for rent from €5
- Changing rooms with showers
- Baby changing facilities
- Gift shop for souvenirs and essentials
- First aid station with trained staff
- Free WiFi throughout the park
Accessibility at Aqua Natura
The park has made efforts to accommodate visitors with mobility needs:
- Wheelchair access to most areas of the park
- Accessible toilets and changing facilities
- Accessible entry to several pools
- Staff available to assist where needed
If you have specific accessibility requirements, I’d suggest calling ahead to discuss your needs and ensure they can accommodate you properly.
Weather considerations
Like other water parks, Aqua Natura may close temporarily during thunderstorms for safety reasons. If the park closes for more than 2 hours due to weather, they typically offer return tickets for another day.
Fortunately, bad weather is quite rare during summer in Benidorm, so this shouldn’t affect most visits!
How long to spend at Aqua Natura
I’d recommend planning for 3-4 hours to experience everything comfortably without feeling rushed. The smaller size of the park actually works in your favour – less walking between attractions, easier to keep track of family members, and you can repeat your favourite slides multiple times without the long waits.
This makes it perfect for families with young children who might get tired quickly, or if you want to combine your visit with Terra Natura zoo for a full day out.
Is Aqua Natura worth visiting?
That depends on what you’re after! If you want the biggest slides, longest queues, and most thrilling rides, go to Aqualandia instead. Otherwise, Aqua Natura offers something quite special – a peaceful, family-focused water park experience where you can actually relax while the kids have fun.
It’s genuinely brilliant for families with children under 10 who might find Aqualandia overwhelming or too intense. The smaller size means less walking, shorter queues, and you can keep track of everyone more easily. The natural theming creates a lovely tropical escape feeling, and if you combine it with Terra Natura zoo, you get excellent value for money. It’s perfect for those holiday days when you want to cool off and have fun without the intensity and crowds of larger attractions. Sometimes smaller really is better!
