Ready to take your Benidorm holiday to the next level? Nothing beats escaping the busy beaches for a few hours and seeing those famous skyscrapers from the water! Whether you’re here with mates for a big weekend, on a family holiday, or celebrating a hen or stag do, getting out on a boat is an absolute must.

I’ve rounded up the best Benidorm boat trips and experiences for this summer – from party boats with music pumping to family-friendly cruises and adrenaline-packed water sports.
Private boat party with champagne
From €350 per group up to 12 people
Book your private boat party with champagne through Get Your Guide (€350 total, maximum 12 people)
This is the ultimate group experience in Benidorm – perfect for hen parties, stag dos, birthdays, or just because you fancy something special! For €350, you get the entire boat to yourselves, with your own skipper.
The package includes a bottle of champagne (get the celebrations started!), and there’s music on board so you can have a party out on the Benidorm water. The boat makes a stop by Benidorm Island where you can cool off with a swim or just chill on deck topping up your tan.
What’s great for groups:
- Private boat means you can be as loud or silly as you want
- Great for those Instagram-worthy group photos
- Swimming stop gives everyone a chance to cool off
- Makes a brilliant surprise for the bride/groom to be
Drive your own boat – no licence needed!
From €130 per boat (up to 6 people)
Book your self-drive boat through Get Your Guide (€130 for the boat, max 6 people)
Always wanted to captain your own ship? Now’s your chance! These Kata boats are dead easy to drive – no licence or previous experience needed.
For €130, you and up to 5 friends can zip around the bay at your own pace. The boat has a sun canopy to keep you from burning to a crisp, and a swimming ladder for when you find the perfect spot for a dip.
What I love about this option is you can escape the madness of Benidorm for a few hours and find your own little quiet coves that the big tour boats don’t visit. Split between 6 people, it’s about €22 each – cheaper than a round of cocktails in the bars!
Ponton party – private tour with drinks
From €350 per group up to 12 people
Book your private ponton party through Get Your Guide (€350 total, 12 people max)
Only got an hour to spare between sleep-ins and hitting the clubs? This hour-long private boat party is just the ticket! You’ll get a skipper who’ll show you around Benidorm Bay and take you to the island.
They’ll sort you out with music, drinks, and even throw in a bottle of cava. There’s snorkelling gear included too, if you fancy checking out what’s swimming below (though after a night in Benidorm’s bars, you might just prefer to lie back with your sunglasses on!).
The boat has proper facilities including a bathroom (essential after a few drinks!), plenty of seating, and a cooler with ice to keep your beverages chilled. You can even bring your own food on board if you’re feeling peckish.
At just under €30 per person when maxed out with 12 people, it’s brilliant value for a VIP experience.
Parasailing boat trip with amazing views
From €60 per person
Book your parasailing experience through Get Your Guide (€60 per person)
Want to see Benidorm from a totally different angle? Try parasailing! For €60, you’ll be strapped into a harness attached to a parachute and gently lifted into the air as the boat speeds along.
Don’t worry if you’ve had one too many sangrias the night before – parasailing is surprisingly peaceful and smooth, not at all like a rollercoaster. You’ll float up to 100 meters above the sea with the most incredible views of Benidorm’s famous skyline.
The actual flight lasts about 10 minutes, with the whole experience taking around half an hour. It’s ideal if you want a bit of excitement without committing your entire day. And you can choose whether to stay dry or get dipped in the water at the end!
eFoil experience – fly above the water
From €150 per person
Book your eFoil experience through Get Your Guide (€150 per person)
If you’re the type who’s always chasing the next adrenaline rush (or just want to try something your mates back home haven’t done yet), this eFoil experience is for you!
These electric hydrofoil boards are like something from the future – you literally glide above the water, hovering about 70cm over the surface. It feels like flying but without the scary heights!
The 90-minute session includes full instruction, all the gear (wetsuit, helmet, impact vest), and a certified instructor to show you the ropes. No experience needed, and you don’t have to be super fit either.
At €150 it’s not the cheapest activity, but it’s definitely the coolest – and you’ll have bragging rights for ages.
Best time for boat trips in Benidorm

Benidorm’s party season runs pretty much all year, but here’s my advice on when to book your boat trip:
- April to June: Warm enough for swimming but without the massive summer crowds. The sea can be a bit chilly in April though!
- July and August: Peak season means the water is lovely and warm, but you’ll need to book well in advance as the best trips sell out fast.
- September and October: My favourite time – still hot enough for swimming but the worst of the crowds have gone home.
- Winter months: Many boat trips still run but check if swimming stops are included as the water gets pretty cold!
Afternoon trips usually mean warmer water for swimming but can be a bit choppier.
What to bring on your Benidorm boat trip
- Sun cream: The Spanish sun is brutal out on the water – don’t learn this lesson the hard way!
- Hat and sunglasses: Essential for hanging on the boat without squinting
- Towel: For drying off after swimming
- Water to drink: Stay hydrated (especially important after a big night out!)
- Phone/camera: For those all-important group shots (waterproof case is a good idea)
- Small bag: Space is limited on most boats
- Cash: For tips or extra drinks
- Swimwear: Under your clothes so you’re ready to jump in
- Something to cover up with: For when you’re heading back to port to stay warm
Where to find your boat in Benidorm
Your booking confirmation will tell you the exact meeting point so do check. I strongly recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early.
Most boat trips depart from Benidorm Marina/Port, which is located at the end of Playa de Poniente (the western beach).
If you’re staying in the Levante area (the eastern side of Benidorm), allow extra time to walk across – it can take up to 30 minutes from the far end of Levante Beach.
Don’t want to miss your boat? Book a Benidorm taxi if you’re in a group – it’s worth the few euros to make sure you get there on time without stress.
So what are you waiting for? Book one of these brilliant boat trips and add something special to your Benidorm holiday. Whether you’re after a full-on party experience or just want to see the famous skyline from a different angle, getting out on the water is an absolute must-do!
