Aqualandia Benidorm

Aqualandia is one of Spain’s biggest and best water parks. It’s brilliant for both thrill-seekers and families with little ones, as there’s such a mix of slides and pools. You’ll be entertained for the entire day, I’m almost certain it’ll be the highlight of your trip!

The best rides at Aqualandia

For brave riders:

  • Verti-Go – If you’re after thrills, you won’t want to miss Verti-Go – Europe’s highest capsule slide where you stand in a pod before the floor drops away!
  • Big Bang – The Big Bang is another favourite where four people can race down together on mats
  • Black Hole – A dark tube slide with loads of twists and turns
  • Splash – My favourite family raft ride where 6 people can go down together

For families with young kids:

  • Adventure Land – Families with young kids will love Adventure Land, a shallow water play area with small slides perfect for little ones.
  • Kid’s Zone – Perfect for toddlers with mini versions of the big slides
  • Lagoon Pool – The Lagoon Pool is great for everyone to cool off
  • Mini Zig-Zag – Gentle slides that are great for building confidence

Aqualandia prices and opening times

Aqualandia runs from 10am to 7pm daily between now and September 28th.

Adult tickets cost €34, while children aged 4-12 years pay €28. Under 4s get in free. You can save money by booking online in advance.

Getting to Aqualandia

You’ll find Aqualandia right next to Mundomar (one of the Benidorm zoos). Regular buses run from both Levante and Poniente areas, and parking costs €5 for the day.

Aqua Natura

Aqua Natura sits right next to Terra Natura zoo. It’s smaller than Aqualandia but still packed with great slides, and the queues are often shorter.

Best rides at Aqua Natura

For thrill-seekers:

  • Speed Snakes – Three racing slides where you can compete with friends
  • Water Rapids – A fast-paced river ride with loads of drops
  • Lighthouse Tower – Three different slides ranging from mild to wild!

For families:

  • Kids’ Pool – Shallow water with fun splash features
  • Wave Pool – Great for all ages
  • Lazy River – Perfect for relaxing between slides

Prices and opening times

The park runs from 10:30 AM – 7:30 PM daily between April and September. Adult tickets are €33, children aged 4-12 pay €27, and under 4s go free.

Family tickets offer better value if you’re visiting as a group.

You can also get dual tickets to Aqua Natura and its sister zoo, Terra Natura for double the fun.

Getting to Aqua Natura

Located at Terra Natura, Aqua Natura is a 15-minute drive from Benidorm centre. There’s free parking, and buses from the L7 or L1 line – just ask for the Terra Natura stop.

As the buses are quite infrequent, I’d recommend getting a Benidorm taxi to get there far quicker.

Which water park should you choose?

Aqualandia is your best bet if you want the biggest selection of slides or have teenagers who love big thrills. It’s also more convenient if you’re staying near Levante Beach.

Aqua Natura is ideal if you’ve got younger children or prefer shorter queues. It’s also great value, especially if you’d like to combine it with a zoo visit.

The best bit? Both parks have plenty of shaded areas and spots to relax between slides, so you can easily spend a full day at either one! They’re both on my list of top things to do in the Costa Blanca as they provide such an amazing day out for friends and family.

Making the most of your visit

You’ll want to bring sun cream and reapply it often, along with water shoes as the ground gets very hot. Towels are available to rent but it’s cheaper to bring your own. If you want to take photos, grab a waterproof phone case.

To save money, book your tickets online as they’re usually cheaper. Look for combo tickets if you want to visit the attached parks (Terra Natura or Mundomar). You can take your own food and drinks to Aqua Natura, though Aqualandia doesn’t allow this. Visiting in June or September usually means lower prices.
