Is Uber or Bolt available in Calpe?

Unfortunately, there are still no services such as Uber or Bolt in Calpe at this time. There are only local taxi services.

Taxi Rank Locations in Calpe

There are very few taxi ranks in Calpe. You can spot the taxi ranks by a blue sign which says Taxi and an accompanying phone number, sometimes with a waiting area to sit.

I would recommend calling the numbers above to try and arrange a taxi, unless you’re already close to one of the following taxi ranks.

Here are the following locations, along with a map. Further down, you can find embed maps of these locations.

  • Avenida. Gabriel Miró

Avenida Gabriel Miró

You can find taxi rank on a street called the Avenida Gabriel Miró, near one of the main Calpe beaches called Playa del Arenal-Bol. You can see the blue Taxi sign with a number on it, and taxis if they’re stationed there.

Calpe Taxi Costs

Most of the companies use meters, which means that taxi fares in Spain have a base charge and then a per-kilometre rate. These vary massively depending on the towns you’re in.

There are usually different rates for day journeys and night journeys, as well as for weekends and holidays.

Most of the taxis use card payment or contactless payment, but it may be best to confirm this before booking your journey or getting into a taxi.

Calpe Taxi Airport Transfers

Some of the taxis above offer airport transfers including Radio Taxi Calpe, which you’ll need to enquire with them directly about to book a trip.

The cost for a standard taxi from Alicante Airport to Calpe averages around €80 – €100, depending on the time of day, and your group size.

I highly recommend booking airport transfers in advance. It will cost you a lot more to approach a taxi without arranging your trip before, and the taxis may turn you away in favour of local trips, delaying your arrival at the airport.

There are also services including Beniconnect offering private transfers and shuttle services from Alicante and Valencia airports to Calpe and back.

If you need more information, I’ve published a guide on travelling from Alicante Airport to Calpe to help you plan your trip!
