Looking for an active day out kayaking on the water during your Moraira holiday? Kayaking is one of the best ways to see the stunning cliffs, hidden coves, and clear blue waters near Moraira.

Most of the local kayak tours visit the stunning Cala Moraig nearby – passing by Cala Portet, and Benitachell which offer some of the most beautiful scenery you’ll find anywhere in the area. These tours are absolutely amazing for families and groups wanting to add a bit of adventure to their holiday.
I’ve added details about each kayak trip from Moraira below, and ticket prices to help you book your experience (at no extra cost to you).

One of my favourite parts is stopping at Cala Llebeig for a snorkel break and lunch. The water is so clear you’ll see loads of fish!

Tips for your Moraira kayak adventure
Based on my own experiences kayaking in Moraira, here are some handy tips:
- Wear swimwear and a t-shirt (or rash vest) that can get wet
- Bring sun cream, a hat, and sunglasses with a strap
- Take a small towel and a change of clothes for afterwards
- Water shoes are brilliant if you have them
- A waterproof phone case is useful for taking your own photos
- The tours usually last around 4-5 hours, so be prepared for a good workout!
- Most tours operate from May to October when the sea is calmest
These kayak tours are suitable for most people, including beginners, but you should be reasonably fit and comfortable in the water. Children usually need to be at least 8-10 years old to participate, but check with the tour provider for specific requirements.

If you’re staying in Moraira and looking for a fun day out that combines a bit of activity with amazing views and swimming spots, these kayak tours are absolutely perfect. It’s such a fantastic way to see the coastline from a different angle!
